It's about doing what Jesus has called us to do.

Many times as Christians we wonder why certain bad things happen because we are good and faithful servants. Jesus tells the people of the church in Smyrna that they are doing everything right but will be persecuted. The devil plays such a big role in our world that bad things do happen to good Christians, but it's not because God doesn't love you. It's because he DOES love you. The devil wants to pull people away from God. So, don't lose faith! You might be just like the church in Smyrna.

We have gotten the gang back together after weeks away and we have started our dive into Revelation. Today we discuss why John was given this vision. Why was he chosen to give this testimony? Some believe it was because he never left Jesus during his crucifixion.

Jesus came to John during his exile on the island of Patmos and showed him things/events that were to come. Come with us as we start to go through Revelation in hopes to help you (and us) better understand this book of the Bible.
