Starting with a focus on the director’s sense of humour, Noah and Eliza ride with Nicolas Cage and Laura Dean in Wild At Heart, Lynch’s racy Palme d’Or winner about lovers on the run across the South.

    Then an assortment of Lynchian shorts are up next, including the first moving picture her ever made (Six Men Getting Sick Six Times), the last film project he ever made (What Did Jack Do?), and one of our favourite fucked-up cartoon series we’ve ever seen (DumbLand). We really miss this bloke and his wild vision and his gorgeous hair—and we’re not interested in doing a Greatest Hits run in our memorial. As Nic Cage once said: this podcast is a symbol of my individuality and my belief in personal freedom.
