Take a trip with us to the future on the human colonization mission of Niflheim the ice planet (not the Norse realm. Which ironically also has ice). That's right folks. This week, Emily guesses the plot to Mickey 17, a modern day Sci-Fi satire about political cults, colonization, manifest destiny, and the value we place on life. In his first film since Parasite, Writer/Director Bong Joon Ho (Snowpiercer, Okja, Memories of Murder) adapts the novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. Starring Robert Pattinson (Twilight, The Batman, The Lighthouse), Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead, Minari, Nope, Invincible), Mark Ruffalo (Spotlight, Foxcatcher, The Avengers, Shutter Island), and Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense, About a Boy, Hereditary).
