This episode of The DMT Chronicles features filmmaker, mythic explorer, multidimensional storyteller and long-time psychonaut Michael Armstrong (creator of The Cosmic Giggle and The Eternal Dragon) joins Dr. DREAM for a deep, vulnerable dive into DMT, spiritual initiation, and what it really takes to integrate peak states into everyday life. We trace our 15-year arc—from Lightning in a Bottle (2010) to The Cosmic Giggle interview (2012), Portal to Ascension (2019), and now 2025.

Michael recounts his first DMT experience stacked on LSD, time-dilation and “Godhead” encounters, and how embodiment practices (martial arts, medical qigong, breath, and erotic energy cultivation) transformed difficult trips into bliss-forward, cellular-level healing. We explore intentions vs. “the deeper intention,” sensitivity from long-term work, the role of DMT vape pens, and a powerful guiding moment where somatic holding helped unwind a years-long post-Bufo heart tremor.

This episode is part of our mission to destigmatize DMT and bring back lessons in service to humanity. A companion conversation with Michael appears on Psychedelics as Medicine.

Bio:

Michael Khan Armstrong is a mythic explorer and multidimensional storyteller whose work maps the electric crossroads of consciousness, creation, and the cosmos. After a decade in filmmaking and a lifetime of psychedelic initiation, he received what he calls The Eternal Dragon—a living system of archetypes revealed through visions, breath, and the body itself.

His art and teaching weave the languages of tarot, stars, Chinese medicine, and quantum physics into a single mythic technology: a way of remembering that the universe is dreaming through us. Michael’s stories move like activations—bridging magic and matter, ceremony and science fiction, so listeners can feel the architecture of the infinite within their own skin.
