Miami Hurricanes OC Lays Out The Good & Bad From Practice | Where Is Florida Better Than The U?

Miami Hurricanes offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson made headlines on Tuesday when he said Miami’s offense is “not anywhere close to where it needs to be.” Dawson also noted that they are only five practices in, but his disclaimer didn’t stop trolls and aggregators from taking his comments out of context in order to portray Miami’s offense as “lost.” Dawson was using his high standards of where he wants Miami’s offense to be, and what it will take to get them there. He wants more communication, urgency and consistency. Miami is loaded with talent like quarterback Cam Ward, running backs Damien Martinez and Mark Fletcher, and one of the best offensive lines in the country.
