  • Ep 39 - It’s Not a Time Problem—It’s a Priority Problem

This week on Messy But Motivated 🎙️

I’m getting real about something a lot of us don’t want to admit…

    👉 We don’t have a time problem—we have a priority problem.

    We say we’re too busy.

    Too tired.

    Too overwhelmed.

    But if we’re honest?

We make time for what matters most to us.

In this episode, I’m diving into:

    • Why “I don’t have time” might not actually be true
    • The hard truth about what we’re putting before God, growth, and what really matters
    • How small daily choices are shaping the life we say we want

And I’m also sharing something close to my heart ❤️

I talk about what I believe is helping shape my kids into genuinely good humans—not perfect, but kind, respectful, and grounded.

This one is honest, a little convicting, and hopefully the push we all need to realign what actually matters.

Because at the end of the day…

we always have time for what we prioritize.

  • Ep 38 - Teaching Truth in a Confusing World
    Mar 27 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

This week on Messy But Motivated, I’m diving into the recent craziness surrounding NeeDoh’s and using it as a real-life example of how quickly culture can influence what we normalize—especially for our kids.

As Christians, we’re called to be different, not to blend in. I share my heart on what that actually looks like in today’s world and how I’ve been having honest, age-appropriate conversations with the youth in our ministry about some tough topics.

If you’ve ever struggled with how to explain hard truths while still leading with love, this episode is for you. Let’s talk about raising and guiding the next generation to stand firm in their faith—even when it’s not popular.

  • Ep 37 - Discernment: Real Faith vs Empty Words
    Mar 20 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode of Messy but Motivated, we’re diving into the topic of discernment—how to recognize the difference between someone who claims to follow Christ and someone who truly lives it out.

I’m sharing three key things I’ve learned in seminary this semester that have challenged the way I see faith, people, and spiritual authenticity. We’ll also talk about what it really means to be “good” people—not by the world’s standards, but through a biblical lens.

This conversation is real, honest, and meant to encourage you to grow in wisdom, stand firm in your faith, and ask the hard questions when it comes to what you believe and who you’re surrounding yourself with.

If you’ve ever struggled with knowing what’s genuine or just want to deepen your understanding of discernment, this episode is for you.

    Send a text

In this week’s episode of Messy but Motivated, we’re recording while on vacation and having a real, honest conversation about the season our family is walking through right now. My husband joins me on the podcast as we talk about selling our house, the emotions that come with big life transitions, and how God showed up for us in a situation that could have turned out really bad—but didn’t.

We also open up about the bittersweet reality of leaving our church, the weight my husband carries as the anchor of our family, and the stress that often comes with that responsibility. Through it all, we’re reminded that even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming… God shows up.

This episode is about faith in the middle of change, trusting God when the future feels unclear, and remembering that even in the messy moments—He is still in control.

Because sometimes the story really is… But God.

  • Ep 34 - Rushed, Misunderstood & Still Rooted
    Feb 13 2026

    Send a text

This week on Messy But Motivated, I’m talking about how hectic life feels right now. The constant rushing. The pressure. The feeling of always being behind.

But I’m also sharing something God has been showing me in the middle of it all… you don’t have to defend yourself to everyone.

Not every misunderstanding needs a response.

Not every accusation deserves your energy.

The Bible says in Matthew 7:16, “You will know them by their fruit.” That means your consistency, your character, your obedience — that’s what speaks.

When your life is rooted in Christ, your fruit will show it. You don’t have to argue it.

In this episode, I open up about feeling rushed, learning to slow down internally even when life isn’t slowing down, and trusting God to defend what He planted in me.

If you’ve been feeling stretched thin or misunderstood, this one’s for you.

    Messy. Honest. Motivated.

  • Ep 33 - Getting Honest About Parenting
    Feb 6 2026

    Send a text

In this episode of Messy but Motivated, I’m getting honest about parenting—because no two families do it the same, and that’s okay. I share a big decision Mike and I made for our family and the mix of emotions that came with it. Then real life hit… hard. A sick kid, sleepless nights, and a moment where my prayer life was tested in ways I didn’t expect.

This episode is for the parents trying their best, the ones questioning their choices, and anyone learning how to lean on God when things feel overwhelming. It’s messy, it’s real, and it’s a reminder that even in the chaos, we’re never walking alone.

  • Ep 32 - When God Feels Silent but His Promise Still Stands
    Jan 30 2026

    Send a text

This week on Messy but Motivated, I'm talking about what it looks like to hold onto God's promises when He doesn't feel close. Sometimes our emotions tell us one thing - but truth tells us another. God isn't a feeling, He's faithful. Scripture reminds us that we are called to walk by faith, not by sight, and that becomes especially real in overwhelming seasons.

I'm also sharing about my second week of seminary and how stretching, challenging, and full it's been - and how God is meeting me right in the middle of the pressure. If you're in a season where you're tired, growing, and learning to trust beyond what you feel, this episode is for you.
