Mental Illness Awareness Week

The first week in October is Mental Illness Awareness Week. In honor of it, I recorded an excerpt of my novel Big Flame and Little Buck, Chapter 1, entitled 1983: A Concert, A Wreck, and A Phone Call. It is the first time we meet Pat Bates and Dante Zuckerman, the summer before their senior year of high school. Pat had been battling depression off and on during his junior year, but had been doing better as of late. That is, until the accident.
