Melinda Rankin (1811–1888) was the first known Protestant missionary to Mexico. Originally from New Hampshire, she felt called to share the Christian faith in a region where Protestant work was rare and often dangerous. In the mid-1800s, Rankin founded schools, distributed Bibles, and quietly advanced her mission despite opposition and political unrest. Her courage and persistence opened the door for future missionary work in Mexico, making her a pioneering figure in Christian history.Thank you for watching!
