Mbuk Adama Idiok Awan, Ibibio

Told in Ibibio by Magdalene Idiang and accompanied by musician Michael Mawazo, this story tells of a woman who was jealous of a child, and how that jealousy drove her to her own self destruction. It is full of lessons, and the kind of African horror that is safe for children's enjoyment, as well as some poetic justice.
