• Yard sale signs prohibited in traffic circle per MoDOT regulations
• Citizens encouraged to download free Citi app for important notifications
• Animal control department fully staffed with new commercial washer/dryer from grant
• Animal shelter has taken in over 170 dogs this year and needs food donations
• All dogs must be leashed in city limits - report strays to 573-774-2414
• Police handled over 700 calls including 251 traffic stops and arrested three for DUI
• McDonald's opening this fall and hiring at $14/hour with benefits
• Heat safety reminders: stay hydrated, check on vulnerable neighbors and pets
