CHANGES TO JURY DUTY COMPENSATION ARRIVE IN ONTARIO Jurors in Ontario will now be compensated $120 per day from the first day they serve, a change that comes to an area of the justice system that has long been neglected. Jane Brown was joined by Ari Goldkind, Criminal Defense Lawyer to discuss the jury duty process and what other updates the system could benefit from. SMALL BUSINESSES URGE END TO POSTAL STRIKE The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) is urging the federal government to immediately end the Canada Post strike. According to CFIB data, 13% of small businesses have stopped using Canada Post since the last strike, costing small businesses over $1 billion. Jane Brown is joined by Michelle Auger, senior policy analyst with CFIB, to discuss the Canada Post strikes' impact on small business owners.
