  • What an HONOR it was to be seated in the presence of Maverick Rodriguez (@maverickxrodriguez) for this very special episode of Extra..Ordinary. From getting her team's ass kicked by Maverick's team in basketball, to thinking he hated her existence, Taylore has a long list of things to go over. As a transgender individual, Maverick wastes no time shedding his skin and speaking on his experiences with finding his identity throughout his life, even through hardships and the bullshit that is High School. Taylore and Maverick dive into their shared childhood experiences of being in the Gifted and Talented program, school bullies, and Maverick's, seemingly out of nowhere, show-stopping audition for a high school play their junior year. As two people who have grown and evolved since they first met in second grade, they discuss how nice it is to re-meet each other in the Now as the human beings they've become, rather than the ones they used to be.
