In this mini episode Mark shares his journey to becoming a Ceroc demo and why stepping into the demo role at Burton in January means so much to him. From his first demo experiences back in 2017 and 2018 to working with teachers from Derby and Leicester and supporting workshops with Nic he explains how demoing helped him grow in confidence as a dancer and as part of the Ceroc community.
Mark talks about learning to angle correctly for the room match the teacher’s timing stay calm under pressure and support dancers as they learn new moves. He also shares why the demo role matters to him and what he hopes to bring to Burton when the new venue opens.
A lovely insight into the teaching side of Ceroc and the people who help make the dance community feel supportive and welcoming.
