Julie is married to Tony, her best friend and a Law Enforcement officer. An Army Brat with a Lieutenant Colonelfather, she now owns Abingdon Park & Pony Farm. Julie teaches English riding and competes in hunter jumper and Welsh pony shows each year. As President of the North Texas Hunter Jumper Club, she was also involved with theUnited States Pony Club earlier in life. Inspired by her mother, a librarian, and brother Dave Thomas, an author, Julie began writing. Her book “I Will Walk With You: An Alzheimer's Love Story” is available on Amazon.
