Red Dwarf was a British sci-fi comedy show that aired from 1988 to 1999 on BBC Two. Featuring a cast of colorful characters, the show has lived on in books and other media. Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers is book one and serves as prequel / jumping off point for the series. But does it do a good job of it? Does the beloved show translate well into book form? Have you ever thought about all of the beings that were lost in that big explosion, even if it saved the day?
