Man arrested after two overnight shootings in Sydney

Two separate shootings occurred overnight in Western Sydney, with a 29-year-old man shot once at his home in Layla Park and a 25-year-old man shot multiple times in Bass Hill. A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the first shooting, while the second victim remains in critical condition at Liverpool Hospital after being shot in the leg, arm and chest. A burnt-out Holden Commodore believed to be a getaway car was discovered in Georges Hall.
