Making sense of other people's memory.

wherein, this one is just me again. i wanted to talk with my Uncle Dave, but he couldn't make it (yet). so, instead, i talked about what my Uncle has taught me—through instruction, example, and caveat. this is about memory, caution, and those people who teach us where to go—even when they don't realize it.
