    On this week's episode Phillip is joined once again by A.C. Nicholas to discuss 1971's spaghetti western that goes by many names; Deep West AKA Guns For Dollars AKA They Call Me Hallelujah. This was a fun movie and the guys had fun watching it. Phillip starts the show by giving the general information for the movie with a some trivia sprinkled in. It's then time for Listener Opinions from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Phillip and A.C. then discuss all the cool things in this movie. Then A.C. gives his user guide to Spaghetti Westerns. (It's a good list so write it down.) They then answer the question of whether they noticed anything in the movie that Tarantino might have liked or used in a film. It's then time to individually rate the movie. Phillip and A.C. then talk about whether they would buy this movie, rent it, or find it for free. Then Phillip gives his Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; From Darkness To Light (2024) (4 stars). A.C. gives a recommendation of a movie that a friend of his made, Left One Alive (2024). Phillip then promotes next week's show, when he will be joined once again by author Jennifer Upton to discuss Sonatine (1993). Thanks for listening.

These guys are great! If you're a fan of Tarantino. prepare to spend many, many hours listening to Phillip and Chip review the movies that inspired Tarantino himself. Even the most devout Tarantino fans will be captivated by Phillip's impressively vast knowledge of not only modern film as an art form, but especially Tarantino's unique body of work. I dare you to pose a question he can't answer! In addition, Chip and Phillip are a couple of really nice, funny, genuine guys, and that comes across in the podcast. Listening to Making Tarantino is always an enjoyable, and educational experience, and they get two thumbs up from this film nerd!
