Make Godly Dating Choices- ‘Dear God-made Woman Series’

Dear God-made Woman,

If your long term goal is to live a godly life, have a godly marriage and raise godly children….

You must be very intentional about marrying a godly man because the kind of man you partner with in marriage will go a long way in determining if your goal for a godly life, marriage and lineage is achieved, and moreso without unnecessary struggle and warfare.

However, if you are not intentional and serious about vetting the godliness of the men you choose to accommodate and date as a single woman,

You will unintentionally end up with a husband and a father to your children whose leadership, character and lifestyle exemplifies and models ungodliness rather than godliness thereby derailing your goal.

Dear God-made woman,

If living a godly life, having a godly marriage and raising godly children are indeed a priority to you, and I hope it is……

You must stop accommodating and choosing men who live an ungodly lifestyle no matter how much they like you, how long they pursue you, how nice they seem or how generous they are to you.

An ungodly man no matter how good intentioned he is does not have the capacity to partner with you to honor God and uphold godliness in your life, marriage and family.

This is why you must be resolute about your goal, unwavering in your godly convictions and standards, firm in your boundaries, clear in communicating your No’s to the wrong people, patient while you wait for the godly man who is for you, and prayerfully observant as you choose a man who is truly godly which will be demonstrated not only in his words or observance of spiritual activities but also in his speech, actions and lifestyle that show honour, submission and obedience to God’s Word.

Dear God-made Woman,

The godliness, peace, agreement and blessings of being married to a godly man and being able to partner together in agreement to build a godly marriage and raise godly children is too precious to gamble away by dating men who do not have the same long term goal of godliness with you.

So ask yourself, am I presently making dating choices that align with my long-term goal of living a godly life, having a godly marriage and raising godly children?

If your answer is yes, then well-done to you because you will achieve your goal with God’s help and in His time.

If your answer is No, then now is the time to readjust and realign your choices to fit your goal.
