On this episode, we are going to be trying out a new episode style where we have a listener/friend of the show give us our two albums to review! This time around, Chad's friend, Scott, will be giving us some music to listen to. Mer De Noms was geared towards Dennis, as he is a new fan of Maynard. The Great Cold Distance was geared towards Chad, because they are lesser known and have a style that Chad just may really enjoy.

We are going to be exploring and discussing the darker vibes and tones of Tool's "Ænima", in addition to discussing and exploring the chilled out vibes from Meltt's "Swim Slowly". These albums are quite different tonally, but they are both filled with great music

On this episode, Dennis decided to task Chad with his first real exposure to a Deftones album with "Koi No Yokan". Many would have expected him to bring "White Pony" to the table, but it didn't grab him like this Deftones album did.

Chad is taking Dennis to school, and is giving him the opportunity to spend some quality time with "Sheer Heart Attack" from the legendary Queen. This album has a wide variety of sounds and vibes, and includes a personal story from Chad

Starset is a band that had been around since 2013, and they feature some cool lore with their music as well as as Sci-Fi or Space theme with their music. Brand New on the other hand, has been around since 2000, and their discography features quite a variation of sound between each album

Chad brought a funny story with him in regards to Marilyn Manson, as well as the history for why he wanted to share the album itself with Dennis. Blink-182 was so iconic for Dennis's generation, and he gets into reasons why.

Hello Everyone and welcome back to Magic Power!

Today we are diving into 2 very well known albums from 2 bands you've probably heard of. Nirvana is certainly far more iconic than Avenged Sevenfold, but they are popular enough to where you definitely have heard some music from each band. Nirvana changed the entire music industry, as well as Chad's life. Avenged Sevenfold was very prevalent in Dennis's life for a period of time due to one of his hobbies.
