Drama explodes in Southern Hospitality Season 4 Episode 2: “Folly Follies.” The episode picks up right where the explosive argument between Maddi and TJ left off, with tensions at an all-time high as accusations about loyalty, friendships, and the Trevor cheating scandal continue to unravel.
Maddi confronts Joe Bradley about his role in exposing Trevor’s cheating, admitting the fallout destroyed her relationship and left her feeling betrayed. Elsewhere, Maddi leans on her sobriety sponsor Julia, revealing she has 11 years sober and showing just how deeply the situation with TJ and Trevor hurt her. In true Maddi fashion, she even creates a hilarious PowerPoint presentation proving that she and TJ were once real friends.
TJ stirs up even more chaos while hanging out with Justin, joking about sexuality rumors and gifting him a wildly inappropriate decanter shaped like male anatomy. At the same time, Mia drops shocking news: she and her long-distance boyfriend Troy have officially broken up after two years when he refused to move to Charleston.
At Republic, Joe Bradley tries pitching his dream of becoming a business partner to Leva, but she shuts him down hard, calling out his lack of reliability and reminding him that skipping work to follow Maddi around Charleston won’t earn him a promotion.
The group heads to Folly Beach for Bradley and Julia’s anniversary celebration, where emotions run high but progress is finally made. Maddi and Mia clear up a major misunderstanding involving a group chat about Trevor, leading to apologies and a surprising moment of closure.
