Machete

On this week's episode we look back at Robert Rodriguez's 2010 film Machete, starring the legendary Danny Trejo. This film was born out of a fake trailer that played in front of 2007's Grindhouse double feature Planet Terrror and Death Proof. Highly anticipated by devotees of Joe Bob Briggs and fans of old school drive in exploitation films, this ridiculous revenge film did not disappoint at release, but certainly hits different in 2026.
