Depression is a malfunction of the instrument we use to determine reality.... A depressive episode is different than a mood change.... They last on average 1-2 weeks and can be longer. 21 million or 7.8 percent of all adults have had a bought of depression in the LAST YEAR. Depression is NOT a sin. Anxiety is NOT a sin. Mental illness is NOT a sin. Feelings of depression are a good indication that something needs to change!
