  • Polycentric or Multipolar World? Where are we Heading in the Field of World Politics?
    Nov 4 2025

In our new Geopod series our guest speaker was professor Hall Gardner, who we discussed how power is increasingly fragmented on the world stage, and what this means for the future of global governance. We also considered the implications for Europe and the wider Eurasian region, and what signals we should watch to understand where world politics is heading next. Professor Garner also warned us that future leaders should take diplomacy more seriously to avoid another world war.

Guest speaker: Hall Gardner, professor of International Politics, visiting fellow of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs

Moderator: Klementina Kozma, Research Fellow of MCC-MKI Center for Geopolitics
