This podcast was suggested by a friend and so I listened to it at 10 when it was dark. That was a mistake.

Aht!! it's so captivating!!! it grabbed my heart and attention for every single second it played!

More of the same, in the worst way.

I was hoping for something a little more unique, not just yet another "scare" of the week podcast with creepy violin playing in the background of a truly forgettable story. the narrators voice is a bit nasally and the audio sounds like it was recorded in a warehouse. the story was generic? I guess? really disappointing to be honest. It just seemed boringly familiar in it's set up and didn't do much to set itself apart from the thousand of other boring YouTube channels, podcasts and audiobooks that follow the same structure. I presume they are leading with their best content so if this is that then.. I don't think this is for me. Also I think I'm a tad salty because the first 6 minutes of a thirty minute episode are literally ads and I, like many others, am at work while I listen so I can't take the time to find exactly where they end and the story begins. 6 minutes, that is an incredible amount of advertisement. I likely won't be continuing after this episode which is a shame as I heard good things. though perhaps I'm on the wrong podcast.
