I apologize if I spelled her name wrong but everytime she has to talk about anything that revolves around the gross treatment of black people specifically black women... I am able to HEAR her. The sorrow in her voice...like she has said...I will sit and listen and take it in. I want to change and I know that the only way white ppl, myself included, will be fully “woke” will be when black ppl, pocs, and other marginalized ppl are no longer threatened by their generational trauma. I am grateful to this entire podcast for further opening my eyes with history. I would like a topic to revolve around prehistory/Bronze Age black civilizations and how the oppression has started so far back that u could say ancestral generational trauma. Idk...so many thoughts but appreciation and wanting to push past my guilt is the foremost. Thank u again and sorry if any of my comments were offensive. I am still learning.

It’s hard but worth it to listen to katina...
