  • WEMBLEY WINNERS! Can Luton kick on from here? | Vertu Trophy final reaction & Northampton preview

    Luton Town added another piece of silverware to their collection when they won the Vertu Trophy with a 3-1 win over Stockport County at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

    A very happy Kev is joined by an equally chipper Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe for a bumper episode of the podcast to look back on a truly special day.

    The Town threw another two points away on Saturday afternoon when they allowed Stockport County to leave Kenilworth Road with an undeserved 1-1 draw.

    The boys begin by going through the good parts of the match which was the first half of the contest before addressing the bits that didn’t go so well.

    The Town achieved successive league wins for the second time in 2026 on Tuesday evening with an entertaining 3-2 win over Exeter City at Kenilworth Road.

    Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look back on a fun night of football at the Kenny and look ahead to a very big game against Stockport County on Saturday.

    The boys begin by looking at the game against the Grecians and the action packed first half which saw the Hatters go into the break 3-1 in front, and then reflect on what the Town did even better in the second half, as well as going through the bad points of the evening and the conclusion that we might just have to put up with certain things.

    The chaps then look ahead to a season-defining game against Stockport on Saturday, one which could really propel Luton right into the play-off hunt once again.
