Luke Chapters 6-7

In this episode, we read Luke chapters 6 and 7, where Jesus teaches about the heart of true discipleship and demonstrates His authority through powerful acts of compassion. In chapter 6, Jesus delivers teachings similar to the Sermon on the Mount, calling His followers to love their enemies, show mercy, and build their lives on a firm foundation through obedience.

Chapter 7 highlights Jesus’ authority and compassion as He heals a centurion’s servant, raises a widow’s son, and responds to questions from John the Baptist. We also see a powerful moment of forgiveness as a sinful woman anoints Jesus’ feet, demonstrating deep faith and gratitude.

Luke 6–7 reminds us that following Jesus means living with humility, love, and mercy, while trusting in His authority and responding to His grace with sincere faith.
