Luke 24:1-12 – Easter Sunday (C)

  • Resumen

  • On this episode of Preaching the Text, John Hoyum and Steve Paulson discuss Luke's account of the empty tomb. What we learn from this story is that the prospect of Christ's absence from the tomb is initially perplexing and frightening for both the women and the apostles. This is because the law remains in their consciences, threatening them with punishment for their betrayal. Resurrection will only become good news when Christ appears and applies his word of forgiveness.
