WHO IS MARK HARDER?
Mark Harder has been serving as the St. Louis CountyCouncilman for District 7 since 2015. His district encompasses areas such asBallwin, Chesterfield, Ellisville, and Wildwood. Before joining the CountyCouncil, Harder was a member of the Ballwin Board of Aldermen, where he gainedvaluable experience in local governance. He is a Republican and has beenactively involved in addressing various issues, including public safety,education, and fiscal responsibility. Harder is known for his commitment to communityengagement and his efforts to ensure transparency in government operations.
In addition to his political career, Harder has aprofessional background in real estate and business management. He holds abachelor’s degree in Marketing and Political Science from the University ofMissouri-Saint Louis. Harder has also been vocal about his stance on keyissues, such as supporting law enforcement and advocating for responsiblebudgeting. His leadership has been instrumental in navigating challenges withinthe County Council, including the fallout from former County Executive SteveStenger’s corruption charge.
