Many a times cast, religion, riches or poverty leads to the opposition of the families of love birds. In that case many a times we have witnessed lovers to run away to a faraway place where they can be safe from the eyes of their families. This temple is the heaven for such lovers who are not only kept safe in the temple premises but also are provided with food, shelter, protection and assistance by the entire village because of a religious belief.
