Love Over Liberty

Freedom in Christ is a beautiful thing — but it can also be misunderstood. Just because something is permitted doesn’t always mean it’s helpful. And sometimes, exercising our freedom without considering others can do more harm than good. As Romans 14 continues, Paul shifts the focus from disagreement to responsibility. He challenges believers to think beyond themselves and consider how their choices affect others in the body of Christ. Because spiritual maturity isn’t measured by how much freedom we claim — but by how much love we show. In today’s message, Pastor Jeff reminds us that Christian liberty was never meant to become a stumbling block. As Paul calls believers to walk carefully and sacrificially, we’re encouraged to choose love over personal preference for the sake of others’ faith.
