    After a thrilling weekend of the NFL draft and the NBA playoffs, Kayden and I had to break it down. We start with the NFL draft where things couldn’t be wilder. We talk about the possible reasons why Shedeur Sanders fell as well as our favorite three drafts that teams had. The second half of the pod includes in-depth conversations on each series in this year‘s NBA playoffs. In the west, the Thunder dominate, Kawhi has a reesurgance and Jokić‘s effort make for a great Clippers-Nuggets series, Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves dominate the Lakers, and Steph proves why he’s still in his prime. In the East, the Cavs show their a real threat, rumors of Giannis trade start to rumble after another series loss, the young Pistons give the Knicks a run for their money, and the Celtics have to fight hard to beat a tough Magic team.

    Washington commanders tight end Colson Yankoff joints episode 107 of the Logical Nonsense podcast for an exclusive interview about his journey to the NFL. Tune in to hear Colson‘s take on his journey how he whipped from one of Idaho‘s best prospects to now a professional tight end. Colson’s journey is full of resilience, determination and hard work. Nothing in his career after high school was easy. He took a red shirt at the University of Washington after leaving high school early. He then transferred to UCLA where it was determined he would then be switching positions if you wanted to contribute. Colson found his roll on the team on special teams, in the running back room, and in the receiver room. After two injuries in college, Colson realized he needed to make a decision to go all in on the NFL or to not and the rest is history. The final half of the pod includes Colson’s draft process, first season with the Commanders, his biggest learnings on the team. This is not one you’re gonna wanna miss as Colson‘s journey is incredibly inspiring.

  • EP 106: Greg Thomas | Journey from Arkansas QB to State Winning Coach

    Episode 106 includes an exclusive interview with Greg Thomas. Greg talks about his journey as a football player and how he got to the University of Arkansas. While he was there, he talks about what got him through college football and the struggles he faced as a black quarterback. He was the first black quarterback to ever start for the University of Arkansas and at the time he played, there was only eight other black quarterbacks in college football. Thomas saw great success being the starter for the team three years in a row and making many bowl games. After college, Thomas decided he needed to go back to Texas and help his community. While helping kids in trouble getting their diploma, Thomas was offered to be an assistant coach at East Plano high school in Texas. Greg and I discuss the ups and downs of coaching.     In the NFL, I discuss the Deebo Samuel trade, my thoughts on the NFL Combine and what positions I think will be deep in the draft, Tyler Lockett getting released, DK requesting a trade, the Rams and why there is any discussion of blowing up their team, where Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams could potentially land and more.

    Finishing up with hiphop, I discuss the recent release of Drake and PartyNextDoor's new album '$ome $ecy $ongs 4 U' and how I was not impressed. Joey Bada$$ released a three pack and while I find it impressive, I think he is stretching where he thinks he is on the hiphop ladder. And finally, Boldy James, is he releasing too much?
