The Reds' bullpen couldn't stop the bleeding, giving up five additional runs as the game got out of hand. Offensively, Cincinnati had some bright spots—TJ Friedl tallied three hits, Gavin Lux launched his third homer of the season, and Spencer Steer notched his second consecutive multi-hit game. Every day listener. This is a good reds review podcast from informer and well spoken hosts. Only 2 major flaws:
1- their post-game and interviews are nearly incomprehensible, even with $400 headphones.
2-their strong tendency to blow smoke and rainbows up listeners’ rear-ends. Lose another series after the bullpen gives up 8 runs or 3 straight walks? They’ll cherry pick some obscure statistics that make the bullpen sound good. I don’t enjoy listening to overly negative podcasts either, and would prefer they be slightly on the sunny side, but here they sometimes border on delusional.
