Nebraska basketball has a big night ahead. The ninth-ranked Huskers head into Pauley Pavilion on Tuesday to face UCLA, which has played much better than its bubble-team status at home this season. We turn our attention on this Monday to spring football at Nebraska. Linebacker Owen Chambliss, the San Diego State transfer, highlighted the weekend interview session. Happy birthday to the state of Nebraska. March is here. And we’re all in on hoops as the Huskers, after a 15-point win on Saturday at USC, have reached 25 wins and a school-record 14 in conference play. Pryce Sandfort led the way again with 32 points against the Trojans. Is he a first-team All-Big Ten player? We saw the impact again of Sam Hoiberg as he sat much of the first half with foul trouble, then helped the Huskers outscore USC by 20 points after halftime.

Nebraska heads to UCLA on Tuesday, then will face Iowa at home on Senior Day.
