Living small without apology

Living small is rarely framed as a finished decision in our society is it? It’s usually spoken about as a phase, a ‘starter home or a stepping stone. Maybe a place you pass through on the way to something bigger, better, more impressive. A “starter home”, as if your real life is waiting elsewhere. But sometimes, the place you thought was temporary becomes the place where your life actually happens.
