Very Glad to announce this Sun Apr 2, 11AM ET, I, Prof. Mohammad Hajiaghayi of UMD, will have a live discussion with Prof. David Shmoys of Cornell University who is a pioneer in optimization, operations research, and algorithms. Prof. Shmoys has had more than 30 students and 100 descendants. He is the recipient of several scientific awards including INFORMS Wagner Prize, INFORMS Lanchester Prize, Khachiyan Prize a fellow of several societies such as INFORMS, ACM, and SIAM (see his wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_S... for more details).
