  • Live From The Hotel Edison Times Square Chronicles Presents: A True American Gero — Clinton Romesha and Pure Talk
    Dec 9 2025

This week on Live From the Hotel Edison, owner Suzanna Bowling is honored to introduce a true American hero — Clinton Romesha.

A retired United States Army Staff Sergeant, Clint was awarded the Medal of Honor, our nation's highest military distinction, for his extraordinary bravery during the Battle of Kamdesh on October 3rd, 2009. Assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment of the 4th Infantry Division, Clint and his fellow soldiers faced an overwhelming attack by 300 Taliban insurgents at Combat Outpost Keating in eastern Afghanistan.

Despite being wounded, Clint took command under fire — rallying his comrades, leading a courageous counterattack, calling in close air support, and laying down suppressive fire so the wounded could be moved to safety. His actions that day saved lives and defined what it means to serve with honor, courage, and sacrifice.

Today, Clint continues to serve — not in combat boots, but as the brand ambassador for PureTalk, a company that proudly supports the men and women who keep America running: Veterans, small business owners, farmers, truckers, tradespeople, and everyday Americans who value hard work, personal responsibility, and freedom.

PureTalk has made it their mission to give back — including eliminating $10 million in Veteran medical debt and supporting programs like America's Warrior Partnership. They also offer special discounts for our military and Veteran communities, walking the walk when it comes to patriotism and purpose.

Please join me in welcoming a decorated soldier, a dedicated leader, and a voice for everyday American values — Clint Romesha.
