People often judged Little Benny for being a smoker. Each time he managed to quit, something would pull him back into the habit. Deep down, he longed to break free from smoking completely. What no one knew was the depth of his prayer life; he prayed quietly, his lips moving in silence.

As he stood to leave the restaurant, he caught sight of his adversary staring directly at him. But then, something peculiar and mysterious began to occur—Benny started to fade away as his enemy approached. Filled with fear, he prayed fervently, sensing that something was aiding him. Was it the cigarettes? No. Was it his desperate prayers? Perhaps it was.

When he got home, he couldn't figure out how to return to his normal self. In his desperation, he prayed silently again. Miraculously, he saw himself reappear. He quickly called Ms. Daniels, thinking she might not believe him. “Could it be something related to the armor costume I wore?” he asked her.

Ms. Daniels replied, “It sounds like the power of prayer.”
