- Current state of the Dallas Rap Scene: Halfpint recently made a post on IG saying, " Nobody in the DFW is making major records like real clear undeniable records...It all sounds like stuff nobody in the world can relate to but people in the DFW & that's why it ain't gettin out dis mf!!" Halfpint took a lot of backlash for his post from some people in the DFW. Saying that "negativity is the only thing that catch yall attention & that's the real root to all the problems."...Is the Dallas Rap Scene in trouble? What is missing? How can the scene become better?
- Is Rap Music still prevalent? : Is rap music more dominate now or are we past the dominant phase? Have other musical genres caught up to the dominance of rap music? Does all rap sound the same now?
- Celebrities who proudly support their children coming out: Marlon Wayans revealed that one of his kids, Kai, is transgender during an interview on The Breakfast Club. He spoke about his transition as a parent, going from ignorance and denial to complete unconditional love and acceptance. Other celebrities who have and support their children coming out are, Dwyane Wade & Gabrielle Union (daughter Zaya-trans), R. Kelly & Drea Kelly (son Jaah Kelly- tans), Sade (son Izaak- trans), Magic Johnson (son EJ-), and Will Smith and Jada (Jaden and Willow Smith who don't identify as anything).. What are your thoughts? Is it harder for celebrity kids to come out?
