  • Why your suffering isn't a competition (INFP/HSP)
    Mar 31 2026

Do you feel guilty about your own pain and suffering because you think "others have it worse"? As an INFP or highly sensitive person (HSP), this cycle of comparative suffering can be a heavy burden to carry.

Hello dear soul, and welcome to the Lightbearer's Library. In this journal entry, we explore why minimizing our hurt in a chaotic world is actually a form of emotional self-harm. Empathy is not a finite resource, and your unique sensitivity—whether to cold, sound, or emotion—is valid and real.

I share my personal journey of moving through feelings of abandonment and why self-compassion is the "muscle" we must grow first. Are you ready to let go of the shame and give yourself the kindness you deserve? It’s time to stop the zero-sum game of pain and start healing, dear one.

✨ What is your go-to way to take a "time out" from the world's noise? Is it your journal, a cup of tea, or something else entirely?

  • The world doesn’t want our empathy (INFP/HSP)
    Mar 26 2026

If you’ve ever felt like the world simply 'doesn't give a shit' about your big heart, this raw INFP/HSP journal entry on empathy burnout is for you. You are not alone in feeling like an outsider, dear soul.

Today I’m sharing my own struggle with feeling hopeless and the internal battle of finding meaning when everything feels a bit pointless. This isn't a 10-step plan for relief; it's a conversation for the sensitive hearts who are tired of being the only ones who care. We're talking about:

    - The "empathy burnout" that comes from caring about a callous world.
    - Feeling like an "outsider" or "unicorn" in your own family or community. 🦄
    - How to handle the "meltdown" when your kindness is met with carelessness.
    - Finding small anchors of meaning (like a connection to nature).

Being an INFP or HSP can feel like a burden, but we make our own meaning, and sometimes that starts with just acknowledging how hard it is to be us. You are seen dear one.

✨ What is one small thing that helps you get out of bed on the heavy days?

  • The INFP way to finally be understood
    Mar 25 2026

It’s time to stop apologizing for how your INFP soul is wired and finally give those you love the language they’ve been missing to truly understand you.

Hello dear soul, and welcome to the Lightbearer's Library. In today’s journal entry, I’m sharing the missing ingredient that moved my relationship with my INFJ husband from stepping on eggshells to a deeper understanding of each other's inner world.

As INFPs, our introverted feeling (Fi) can make it so hard to express our inner world in the moment. We’ll explore how using a personality framework like MBTI provides the lenses we need to depersonalize conflict and release the heavy guilt of not being "normal."

Whether you are in an INFP/INFJ relationship or just trying to explain your need for alone time to your family, this framework is a tool for absolute freedom. It’s time to stop hiding, let go of the pressure to change, and embrace our natural way of being.

✨ I’d love to hear from you! What is one thing about your inner world that you wish others understood better?

  • Are you a victim of your own psychology? (INFP/HSP)
    Mar 22 2026

Are you a victim of your own psychology, or is your life in the hands of fate? If you are a sensitive soul feeling stuck in repeating patterns, heavy emotions, or a sense of "why is this happening to me?", you're not alone.

Hello dear soul, and welcome to the Lightbearer's Library. As INFPs and HSPs, we often attribute our struggles to external destiny, but Jung reminds us that until we make the unconscious conscious, it will direct our lives and we will call it fate.

In this journal entry, I share my personal journey of moving provinces and realizing that it was my own psychology, not "fate," that was behind the wheel. We explore the "shadow work" of withdrawing projections from family and society to find true emotional relief and take our power back.

This work is lonely and hard, but it is the path to true emotional freedom. If you are in the midst of your own journey of self-discovery, please know you aren't alone.

✨ I’d love to hear from you: Have you ever mistaken your own psychology for fate? How has "shadow work" impacted your life lately? Let’s support one another in the comments below.

  • How to use spring energy to deepen intuition (INFP/HSP)
    Mar 21 2026

Are you feeling stuck in life or overwhelmed by the noise of the world? As an INFP or Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), the change of seasons—like the Spring Equinox—is the perfect time for a Spring Awakening! Let's use this fresh energy to reconnect with and deepen our intuition.

Hello dear soul, and welcome to the Lightbearer's Library. In this spring equinox journal entry I reflect on using intuition to navigate life’s big decisions.

  • Why this children’s book gives me hope (INFP/HSP)
    Mar 18 2026

Are you a sensitive soul feeling "deadened" by an internal winter and looking for the courage to not give up?

Hello dear soul, and welcome to the Lightbearer’s Library. As an INFP and/or highly sensitive person (HSP), it can feel like the cold snowy winter outside is reflecting how we feel inside—sort of deadened and lethargic. In this journal entry, I share my personal struggle with these heavy feelings and why I’m using a simple children’s book, "The Carrot Seed", as 'emotional first aid' to help me not give up.

We explore how child-like faith is a powerful form of resistance and a courageous refusal to give up on our dreams. Whether it’s choosing a new creative hobby, practicing stillness, or setting boundaries with technology, these are the small seeds that create big changes. It’s time to refuse the chaos and trust that our internal springtime is coming. Just like the little boy in the story, we can plant our vision today and know that, eventually, it will come up. Only don't give up!

✨ What is one "small seed" you are planting for your own personal springtime? (Or just leave a 🌿 to let me know you're planting seeds of hope with me!)

    Mar 17 2026

Are you missing the early warning signs that your sensitive body is sending you before you hit a meltdown? In this journal entry, we explore how our body often knows we’re overwhelmed long before our mind catches up, and how we can use "emotional first aid" to find our way back to a calm state of being.

Hello dear soul, and welcome to the Lightbearer's Library. As INFPs and/or HSPs, we have no control over the outer chaos of the world, but we can learn to manage the chaos within. In this episode we talk about cultivating awareness as a form of inner detective work.

  • You are not here to scroll (INFP/HSP)
    Mar 14 2026

We were not born to waste our lives scrolling. I believe we came here to create.

Dear INFPs and/or fellow highly sensitive persons (HSPs), are you feeling the weight of the world, stuck in an over-stimulated loop of headlines, compassion fatigue, and sensory overload? Well then, this journal entry is a wake-up call to protect your life force from the numbing drain of the scroll!

Our true purpose isn't about consuming the world. It’s about being creative beings who bring beauty and light into reality. One of our biggest obstacles is "inhaling" too much information until we feel suffocated. So let’s dive in and find our creative "exhale". It doesn’t have to be the usual creative activities, but can be simple, accessible things like cooking or journaling, or crocheting dishcloths (which is my favourite)!

Choosing to create is the most courageous way to process the heavy emotions we face these days, and I hope this journal entry gives you the permission to reclaim your life force from the machine!
