You may know Father Seraphim Holland from his social media or YouTube channel, OrthodoxNet, or maybe, like me, he came into your algorithm when a Protestant woman named Sarah came to him on the streets of Athens, storm-trooping him with evangelism. Father Seraphim responded to her with such love, patience, knowledge, and kindness—he caught my attention, and I know many others.

In our chat we cover many of the initial questions new converts to orthodoxy have. We discuss the importance of baptism with chrismation, prayer and the power of the Jesus Prayer, what “works-based” means, how to pray, what it means to pray without ceasing, keeping your mind on Christ, an alternative view on Charlie Kirk, new heresies, baptismal theology, “nice Jesus,” the ecumenism movement, being a new creation in Christ, Protestantism vs. Orthodoxy, acquiring the spirit of peace, Saint Seraphim of Sarov, and what salvation is.

On this episode of the Let’s Be Friends podcast, we are once again joined by frequent contributor and impromptu co-host, Nick Hinton. Recently, we discussed how psyops are being used to convince conspiracy theorists that we are in the apocalyptic last days of the Bible. However, these “prophecies” require no spiritual eyes to discern. Instead, they must be decoded using occult knowledge that truly makes people crazy.

So, who’s actually orchestrating these psyops? Why do they want to drive people crazy? Does this cultish cabal consider their insanity a religion they want the masses initiated into? This seems to be the case! And it becomes more obvious once you see how their religion is a combination of every esoteric belief system, which they seem to be normalizing through strange headlines and nonsensical world events.

On today’s episode of Let’s Be Friends, our frequent guest and contributor Nick Hinton returns to take a second look at the fake apocalypse theory we discussed back in 2022. Since then, it seems some of the predictions we made have come to pass, including the false revival, the right-wing taking over the country, conspiracies going mainstream, and the arrival of an AI antichrist spirit that’s influencing leaders like Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

We also discuss other subjects from the previous series, like the false gospel of churchianity. However, we discuss it from our new orthodox perspective. It turns out the Holy Fathers already had a name for this! They called it moralism, which was the same sickness the Pharisees suffered from. It is the opposite of holiness, which is an internal transformation of the heart accomplished by God, rather than a superficial change of behavior accomplished by our own effort.
