  • How to make peace with the past (Episode 295)
    Aug 17 2025

How do you let go of the past when it still hurts? In this episode I show you how to make peace with the past — without pretending it didn’t happen — so you can move forward. You’ll learn what real peace looks like, why rumination keeps you stuck, and how to stop waiting for closure that may never come. We’ll talk about acceptance (not avoidance), self-compassion, boundaries, grief work, and practical ways to carry your story differently.

By the end, you’ll know how to let go of the past, move forward with intention, and take back your power… even when you can’t change what happened.

👉 Ready to carry the past differently? Then let’s talk!

💡 TL;DR: You can’t change the past, but you can change how you carry it.

  • This is what’s stealing your peace of mind (Episode 293)
    Aug 3 2025
Peace of mind shouldn’t feel this hard… and yet, it does. If finding peace feels tough right now, then this episode of the Let’s Talk About Mental Health podcast is for you. Struggling to find peace of mind — even when nothing’s technically wrong — often happens when things are getting in the way and preventing you from being able to fully switch off. If your brain feels full, you’re finding it difficult to unwind, and the smallest things set you off, then it’s time to work on improving your peace of mind. Because peace of mind isn’t something you just stumble across… it’s something you make space for. And since there’s so much that can get in the way of it, finding your peace also means actively tackling the stuff that’s preventing you from feeling calm. The truth is, your headspace is probably being taken up by things you’ve been tolerating for far too long that are actually doing you more harm than good… so, let’s change that! In this episode I’m breaking down what peace of mind really is, why it often feels impossible to find, and how to clear the mental and emotional clutter that’s getting in the way. You don’t need a total life overhaul; just a few intentional shifts that will help you feel calmer, clearer, and more in control. If your inner world feels chaotic, then let’s talk about how to reclaim your peace!👉 Ready to improve your peace of mind? Then let’s talk!💡 TL;DR: If peace of mind feels impossible lately, this episode will help you uncover what’s really getting in the way… and how to finally take back your calm! 😃💬 Let me know:   What’s one thing you’ve been tolerating that’s been quietly draining your peace of mind?👍 Enjoyed this episode? I am a 30year old female with childhood trauma. As a mentally healthy adult I have and still am working on becoming a better person all the time. Ive been listening to the LTAMH podcast for months, and each episode makes me feel cleansed and happy. I cannot speak highly enough for Jeremy's knowledgeable advice and assessment of each puzzle piece of good mental health that he covers. I listen to the episode on patience on a regular bases and it gets me refocused and curbs my anxiety on stressful days when I really need support. I have told so many people about him, because I am confident that every person listening to his message will feel thier needs are important and recognized. Each episode has a How To section so you can start moving forward with bettering yourself in a tangible way. He is down to earth and has experienced his own challenges and has been strong enough to overcome and find a light and understanding that he shares with his listeners. Jeremy if you read this, thank you with all of my heart. You are a good and beautiful human being and I appreciate you so very much! I would love to see your book on Audible, as I have bad vision and cannot read text easily, otherwise I would've already bought it!! Peace and Light to you in all that you do. -Markette
