  • E5 - Chris Papin - 168 Hours & Behaving Like a Business Owner
    Mar 10 2026

In this episode of Let’s Be Better, we sit down with Chris Papin, CPA and licensed attorney, to discuss his new book “168 Hours: A Startup Business Guide That Respects Your Time: A Smarter Way to Start, Structure, and Scale a Small Business.”

Chris shares insights from his experience as both an attorney and CPA, explaining how entrepreneurs can approach business ownership with structure, discipline, and a smarter use of their time. The conversation centers around a simple idea: everyone has the same 168 hours each week, and how those hours are used determines whether a business becomes sustainable or overwhelming.

Chris breaks down how new and aspiring entrepreneurs can start and scale a business while respecting their time, avoiding common structural mistakes, and building a foundation that supports long-term growth. We also discuss the mindset shift required to truly behave like a business owner, from financial organization to strategic planning.

Chris is also the host of the BLABO – Behave Like A Business Owner Podcast, where he helps entrepreneurs develop the habits and systems needed to run successful businesses.

  • What Parents Can Do To Protect Their Teens: "The Anxious Generation" Book Review
    Jan 25 2026

On today’s show, we are going to review one of the most important books I’ve ever read: "The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness" by Jonathan Haidt.

We recognize that as a teacher, coach, or parent, it can be difficult to work with kids—especially today—and it can be even more difficult BEING one of these kids. We’ve got two massive problems: 1. Overprotective parenting, and 2. Technology that has fractured our attention and fundamentally altered how we connect—with our kids, with each other, and even with ourselves.

In "The Anxious Generation," Jonathan Haidt does a masterful job of sharing the evidence and truth, and while not blaming any one of us, he rallies us to protect our teenagers. Haidt reminds us of what we already know, “... whatever we tolerate today, our children will inherit the consequences.” I can see that we are looking down the barrel of a weapon, and it’s locked and loaded, and pointed at all of our children. Today’s show isn’t about blame, it’s about clarity and leadership. The numbers are in, and we’re going to look at them.

  • Pilot: Let's Be Better - Jimmy Murray
    Dec 25 2025

    Welcome to Let’s Be Better.

Our greatest responsibility as a society is to give every child the nurturing guidance they deserve. Children thrive when moms, dads—all of us—show up with our best. This space was born from a hard truth: too often, systems meant to protect families end up dividing them. But this podcast isn’t just about what’s broken. It’s about who we can become. It’s about grace—for ourselves and for each other. It’s about reclaiming what truly matters. It’s about faith—the belief that even in a complicated world, ordinary people can create extraordinary change.

    Let’s be better.

    Let’s live inspired.

Let’s break cycles, build bridges, and raise the next generation with love, intentionality, and purpose.

Today, we’re kicking off our very first episode with someone who embodies what this movement is all about. We’re sitting down with Jimmy Murray— entrepreneur, real estate investor, and proud Rhode Island native whose story is a testament to betting on yourself. Jimmy walked away from a secure career at Fidelity Investments to build Lyon Property Group, and he never looked back. He stepped out in faith, embraced the unknown, and turned vision into impact, not just in business, but in the lives of the people around him. What makes Jimmy’s voice especially important today is his heart for families. He serves as a director on the board of Mothers and Fathers Truly Matter. Jimmy believes, as we do, that strong families are the foundation of a strong society and that every child deserves two parents who show up. Jimmy is not just here to talk success. He’s here to talk about the responsibility we all share to become better for the next generation.
