History is filled with people and nations making the wrong decisions, and sometimes the right one. In this first episode of Lesson From History, Draevnn Motkova introduces himself, his background in mental health counseling, and how the podcast, Lessons From History came to be. Created as an examination of humanity, his research will be used to reveal the decisions made in our global past and how humanity was impacted by personal, community, cultural, and national actions.

Being a huge fan of science fiction, Draevnn plans to share in a devil's advocate fashion what a time-traveler might learn in regard to how things were done and how they might have been. This has always been an intriguing thought for Motkova. "Could we have avoided a monumental decision and avoided an error, and what might the end result be if a different route had been taken? What about one bad decision leading to a bad outcome?
