The book that informed Mel Gibson's The Passion- I broke up the chapter on teh crucifixion and applied them equally to the five mysteries. Dwelling on the Lord's Passion helps us understand how resolutely determined and fully committed He was to complete His mission on earth. To show His Bride just how much He loves her.

Blessed Jesus, let us not squander Your gift. Let it make us understsand the depths of Your love for us. Let us imitate it. Let it strengthen us in times of weakness. And let it unite us as Christians ultimately- as one body.

Our God made us body and soul. Let us use both body and soul to lift up our prayer.

Breath Pattern:

Inhale during this portion of Ave- Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee...

Hold your breath during this portion- blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Let your breath out in a gentle sustained sigh - Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death, amen.
