This week, Northern Michigan junior lacrosse goalie Lauren Esposito, whose grandfather Tony Esposito and great-uncle Phil Esposito are both members of the Hockey Hall of Fame, joins the show. Lauren talks about having Chiari malformation and the difficulties that come with it, undergoing Chiari malformation surgery prior to her sophomore season in college, her first game back after the surgery, being a social media intern with the men's hockey team at Northern, why the song "Don't Worry, Be Happy" makes her think of her grandfather Tony, some of her favorite Christmas memories, how her recruiting process was different than many, how her coaches and teammates assisted with her recovery, and lots more.
