  • In Episode 6 of Life with Lisa Harper, Lisa sits down for a timely conversation with Laura Story. Lisa and Laura walk through Laura's testimony and speak about circumstances that are permanently challenging. Laura shares the hard truth that we are not called to hope in God changing our circumstances, but rather we are called to hope in God. Laura speaks to those in difficult situations. She says to first pray fervently for God to change your circumstances, and then ask Him how to live today in your current circumstance.

    In her new book, bible study and CD, I Give Up: The Secret Joy of a Surrendered Life Laura shares her powerful story of finding blessing in her deepest pain by choosing to hand over the control she thought she had to God and instead pursue a life of surrender.

“From under a rock”

I had never heard of Laura Story. I already Love Lisa Harper $ her heart for God. How she describes the Bible as a Love story & Loves being a momma. The testimony presented was a beautiful story pointing to surrender & God’s plans vs. our plans. I know the title of the next book I will read now.
