  • On February 10, 1990, two armed masked men entered Las Cruces Bowl while the employees were preparing to open for the day. They forced seven people into the back office and damaged money from the safe. After taking the money, the gunmen shot all seven victims at close range before setting the office on fire. Four people survived, but four were killed, including young children. The two attackers have never been caught, and the case remains unsolved despite ongoing investigations and leads. The Las Cruces Bowling Alley shooting remains one of New Mexico's most infamous cold cases, with authorities seeking tips to identify the suspects.
