Wilcox developed movies of the week and went on to produce projects at HBO, NBC, and Universal Pictures. He is an excellent communicator and storyteller who understands the layers of plot gridding. He is known to be surgically precise with his negotiations and gets things done as a team player. He was the Executive Producer and Director and Creator of the TV Series, The Ray Bradbury Theater for HBO, raised the capital ($23 Million), and shot the series in the US, Canada, France, the UK, and New Zealand as an Award-Winning TV Series. He produced Death of a Playmate, the Dorothy Stratten Story with Jamie Lee Curtis. He is presently developing the Pulitzer Prize-Winning Author Nick Kotz's book, Judgment Days, as he is the team leader in solving all such creative issues as a problem solver. He just completed two scripts, and one is based upon his US MARINE CORPS experiences in Vietnam during the TET Offensive. Having successfully worked in the trenches of almost every sector of the entertainment industry.
He is a Marine Corps veteran who served 13 months in Vietnam in 1967-68 in the formidable I Corps on the DMZ. He has also personally met with President Ronald Reagan, President George W. Bush, and the Commandant of the USMC on behalf of Veterans and POWs for speaking engagements. He spent 5 years in college at the University of Wyoming and California State University, Northridge, with majors in Communications and a minor in chemistry. He is a Professional Rodeo Cowboy, a Land Speed Record Holder, a pilot, a Texas Ranger, a Father and a man who loves good, transparent, loyal, and humble people. He enjoys doing philanthropic work for first responders and Veterans. Larry Wilcox has been married to Marlene Harmon Wilcox for 39 years. Marlene was a track and field Olympian in seven events and is now a track and field coach. They have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. And there is more....
